This way, you can get your personal health insurance with or without a co-pay. So, for example, if you're someone who uses your health insurance infrequently, and you choose the option with co-pay, you'll be sure to pay only for what you'll use, saving you a lot of money.
What are grace periods?
When using certain healthcare services, especially those related to diagnostic tests or complex treatments, these are subject to waiting periods.
This means that a certain period of time must pass before you can use the service after purchasing the policy, which is determined by the type of personal health insurance you choose.
These periods can range from 3, 6, or 8 months, and even longer for specific procedures. Likewise, if you come to Sanitas and already have another health insurance plan, the waiting periods may be waived.
