International students studying in Spain, must purchase health insurance to obtain their student visa. Sanitas International Students offers comprehensive healthcare coverage throughout your stay in our country. This insurance meets all requirements set by the Immigration Office for visa approval.

To purchase International Student insurance we will need:

• Copy of the passport.
• Enrollment certificate or supporting document for the studies you will pursue in Spain, specifying the start and end dates of your studies
• Payment by credit or debit card or bank transfer

What does Sanitas International Students include?

Sanitas International Students offers comprehensive medical coveragefor all foreign students, including primary care, general medicine, nursing services, and emergency care across all medical specialties.

Students will also have coverage for diagnostic tests such as clinical analysis, X-rays, endoscopies, ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging. Therapeutic services including rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, and oncological treatments are also covered.

Our medical insurance covers surgical interventions—both outpatient procedures and those requiring hospitalization. Hospital admissions and stays are fully included.

Sanitas Dental 21 is an additional service included in the plan, offering 30 dental services and a 21% discount on all other dental treatments.

To meet visa requirements, Sanitas International Students also includes repatriation coverage in the event of death to your country of origin—a service we hope you'll never need.

Sanitas International Students Conditions

Sanitas International Students is an insurance policy with no waiting periods and no co-payments, meaning all services are active from day one with no additional costs beyond the premium.

This insurance is designed for students aged 14–35, with 35 being the maximum age limit for coverage.

The insurance can be contracted for a minimum period of XNUMX months, with the option to extend up to two additional months beyond your studies' completion date.
